It is always fantastic to get new clients, but one of the most pleasing ways is when someone you’ve enjoyed working with before comes to you from their new company. Not only do you already have a great working relationship with them personally, but you also get the chance to work on something completely new with them which is exciting all round.
So when we were asked to quote for some work for The House of Illustration by their Director who we’d worked with when they were at a previous client we were delighted.
House of Illustration is the UK’s only public gallery dedicated solely to illustration, with a creative programme of exhibitions, talks and events. Founded by Sir Quentin Blake and opened in July 2014 at the heart of the King’s Cross regeneration area, it is the place to see, learn about and enjoy illustration in all its forms.
Wheel Design is delighted to have been asked to get involved in designing some new signage for House of Illustration, and also to help get planning permission for the new signage.
We designed huge banners to be displayed on either side of the front door, these ones showcasing the new exhibition of Ladybird illustrations and also some other signage for use outside of the gallery.
