Charleston

Charleston was the home and country meeting place for the writers, painters and intellectuals of the Bloomsbury group (many artists and writers including Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell lived there).

Wheel have worked closely with Charleston for many years and have helped to build a strong visual brand which is used on many marketing materials from flyers and posters to huge exhibition banners, wall decals, posters, signage and their website.

Charleston also hosts a literary festival each year bringing in thousands of people to the house, we have worked closely with Charleston to create an eye-catching brand for the festival which sits comfortably within the existing branding. This year we worked with the illustrator Luke Edward Hall to create a striking illustrative brand for the Festival which was used on the website, advertising, brochures, banners and many more printed and digital items.

Charleston also host many exhibitions throughout the year in their new Gallery situated in the old threshing barn area of the house. We have created branding for each of these exhibitions to include hanging banners, advertising, roadside banners, flyers and many other items.

They also host workshops and Designer and Maker fairs each year which we have designed sub-brands for, such as social media gifs, digital assets, advertising and roadside banners.
